Known for its beaches, where coconut palms abound, the vast system of lagoons and the natural beauty of the entire state, but also for the UNESCO heritage Western Ghats (Western Ghats), home of spice plantations and of a wonderful flora and fauna. Day 01: Arrival Mumbai 
Arrival at Mumbai airport where, after the customs formalities and baggage collection, you will meet your guide in the arrivals hall. He will take you to your hotel and help you to check in at the hotel. Afterwards, you can use your free time to relax or walk through Marine Drive or visit the markets of Colaba Causeway and Crawforf (Zaveri). bazar / Chor bazar), where you can take beautiful pictures.

Day 02: Mumbai 
In the morning after breakfast, you will visit the Prince of Wales Museum and the door of India (a triumphal arch) built in 1911 to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary. From there, you will then take a ferry to the Elephanta island, a UNESCO heritage site. The Elephanta caves are located in Gharapuri, the cave city, approx. 10 Km from the port of Mumbai. The caves are divided into two groups: the Hindu caves (five) and the Buddhist caves (two). We will then visit the historic CST train station, the Supreme Court of Mumbai and other colonial buildings.

Day 03: Cochin - 1.5 hrs by flight 
In the morning you fly to Cochin and after the formalities in the hotel you start exploring on foot the historical city of Fort Kochi. In every corner of this island steeped in history, there is something fun that awaits you. It is a world of its own, preserving examples of a bygone era of which it is still very proud. If you smell of the past, nothing can stop you once you start walking along these roads. In the evening there is a classical dance performance of Kerala, the kathakali.

Day 04: Cochin 
Called the Queen of the Arabian Sea, Cochin was the first center colonized by Europeans in the Indian subcontinent. In the morning we visit the Dutch Palace in Mattancherry built by the Portuguese for the Maragià di Cochin and restored by the Dutch; the Jewish Quarter; The Jewish Synagogue of 1568; the spice market; the Church of San Francesco; the Chinese fishermen's networks; the natural harbor of Cochin and the lagoons that extend to the west from the east where the soil is formed by large accumulations of alluvial sediments.

Day 05: Munnar - 4 hrs by road  
Departure for Munnar, place of the mountains of Kerala, with vast expanses of tea plantation and its misty mountains. The journey to Munnar is very picturesque, with many valleys and plantations. Check-in at the hotel and free evening to relax, stroll around the town or simply enjoy the view of Munnar.

Day 06: Munnar  
Today we visit the tea plantations, the characteristic of Munnar, and the factories where tea is processed and packaged. Here you can also taste and buy the best tea from South India. Then start again to see the breathtaking panorama of the peak of Anamudi, the highest peak of the Western Ghats that rises to a height of 2695 meters. After this wonder we move to Mattupetty for visiting the church and the concrete containment dam, a popular place for picnics, boat trips or horseback rides.

Day 07: Periyar - 3 hrs by road 
Departure to Thekkady known destination for the image of its elephants, for the endless hills of hills and for the plantations scented with spices. Periyar Park is considered one of the most beautiful wildlife parks in all of India. After the ceck-in to the hotel, we leave for a boat trip on the Periyar lake to enjoy the view of the lake, the elephants and the tiger park.

Day 08: Periyar  
The day is all dedicated to visiting spice plantations of cardamom, cinnamon, pepper and many others. Possibility to directly purchase spices from growers. Visit of a tribal village nearby and their activities, known above all for gathering honey from the bee's nest. 

Day 09: Alleppey  - 3 hrs by road 
Called the Venice of the East, Alappuzha has always enjoyed an important place in the maritime history of Kerala. Today it is famous for its boat races, excursions on the lagoons, beaches, marine products and the coconut fiber industry (ropes). Upon arrival, embark on a luxurious Houseboat to spend a night on a boat and enjoy the peaceful life of Kerala. Accommodation with full board on the boat. Meals will be cooked on board with fresh food purchased on the way. Breakfast on board and then disembark at the Puthenangady pier.

Day 10: Mararikulam - 1 hrs by road 
Continue to Mararikulam, a fishing village overlooking a beach of the Arabian Sea. Marari Beach is a beautiful beach surrounded by endless coconut palms. Free day for relaxation, Ayurvedic massages and other local activities.

Day 11: Mararikulam  
All day at your disposal for local activities, beach, Ayurvedic massages or simply to relax.

Day 12: Cochin airport - Trip ends here  
Today you will be dropped back to Cochin airport

QUOTE, RATES & VARIATIONS
 Our quotation system accesses both live pricing and static pricing depending upon the supplier. It is not uncommon for suppliers (e.g. Airlines, Cruise Liners and Hotels) to sell out, alter or withdraw prices including advertised special rates. If prices, rates or inclusions vary from your quotation or from an advertised price, we will advise you of any change prior to your booking request and any transaction being processed. If you do not wish to proceed with the booking at the new price, you may cancel the booking request at no cost to you. Once your booking has been confirmed and payment received, any new specials released cannot be applied to existing bookings. Prior to full and final payment being received, we reserve the right to vary prices and rates in the event of changes in exchange rates or price rises made by wholesalers or other suppliers. If the cost of any service increases due to exchange rate fluctuations, price increases, tax changes or any other reason, you are required to pay the increase when notified by us or you may cancel the booking. We are not liable in any way if any increase occurs due to exchange rate fluctuations, taxes or supplier notifications. Rates quoted are appropriate to the particular product at the time of quoting and these rates may change prior to the travel date. All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice.

PAYMENT & DEPOSIT
 Bookings travelling more than 45 days out will be required to pay deposit of 50 % at the time of confirmation sent and with the balance owing payable 30 days prior to travel (the “due date”). Prior to the due date, the balance owing may be paid by credit card, debit card or you may transfer into our bank account directly to avoid card fees. We will email you a final payment reminder. Travel vouchers and booking confirmations cannot be issued until final payment is received. If you fail to pay by the due date we reserve the right to automatically charge the credit card provided to complete the final payment. Any booking not paid in full by the due date is subject to automatic cancellation without further notification. Any deposit paid will be forfeited or, at your request, it may be used as a payment towards an alternative booking. Deposit conditions for certain accommodation and tour products may vary and we will advise you of these conditions and request your consent prior to proceeding with the booking. Bookings over Christmas and New Year’s (Festive Season) require a non-refundable deposit of 25 % while confirmation of trip and final payment 60 days prior, as this it non refundable under any circumstances. We will refund this 25 % in case tour is non operational or not confirmed dates. We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance if you are visiting India.

Payment or deposit charges would be as follows:

  • 25 % while booking the trip ( if any airlines / train journeys included in trip )
  • 50 % once all bookings / services are confirmed by us via email or status chart.
  • 50 % due amount will be paid 30 days before trip commenced or as per due date on invoice whichever is earlier.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
If the Client wants to cancel the tour, he must intimate the Company in writing mailed to us at our office address on working days within office time. If the Booking Form has been signed by one or -more persons for themselves and for others mentioned in the form, communication signed by such signatories would be treated as valid communication for cancellation for all such persons mentioned in the form. The computation of the period of notice of cancellation shall commence only from the time the written request reached the Company at its office on working days within office time.
In addition to the above, in case of cancellation of tour by either party, the amount spent by the Company on visas, medical insurance, POE, flight including administrative charges would be payable by the Client. If the total cancellation charges mentioned above exceed the amount paid by the Client, the balance amount would be payable by the Client.
In case of Third Party Products, the rules relating to cancellation and the cancellation schedule prescribed by the concerned Third Party Service Provider would be applicable and in addition the Company shall have the right to claim service and communication charges. It is a clear understanding between the parties that for the purpose of this clause cancellation can be due to any reason whatsoever including the reason of inability to participate due to any reason including illness, death, court orders, non-availability of travel documents etc.

Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

  • 45 days prior to arrival: 10% of the Tour / service cost
  • 30 days prior to arrival: 25% of the Tour / service cost
  • 15 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / service cost
  • 07 days prior to arrival or No show : 100% of the Tour / service cost

( 25 Dec from Christmas – 05 Jan bookings as well as Diwali festival trips will be non refundable )
